ZLYC
Really hot bikini with a trendy camouflage print to make it a bit different. Sent to me for evaluation, I was happy to see that the quality was greater than I expected from the photos online. Apart from superb manufacture and a very elastic and fit-for-purpose fabric, this has everything I look for in a bikini:
I find this bikini very comfortable to wear and, as far as I'm concerned, it runs true to size. My usual is a UK size 10 (US size 8) but I asked for a Small (instead of Medium as per chart) because I wanted the tiniest bikini for private sunbathing. It fits me exactly as I expected. Just remember that Brazilian cut means most of your bottom will be uncovered, that's the style and not a design fault! |
The current price of around £28 (US $46) is actually quite reasonable for a luxury item and there is a lot of structure to this model. The pattern may be camouflage, but I guarantee you will not go unnoticed if you dare to wear this adorable little number!
I love this cheeky, neon-hued little bikini, wonderful for catching the best tan. Although the top has the triangle-shaped cups, the foam inserts make it into almost a push-up, certainly an enhancing effect. The bottom is really small, Brazilian cut (which means that half your bum will be visible) but also low in front. Not for the shrinking violets, but if you've got some moxie, you'll enjoy showing it off!
When this was proposed to me for review, I was hoping that the colours might be more subdued than in the photos (after all I had chosen the Blue option), but in real life the predominant hues are shocking pink, lime green and yellow. It sounds adventurous, and it is. It's quite striking, the print is like an explosion of tropical flowers and foliage, and I'm starting to like it more and more. It looks really great with a golden tan, of course, but you will soon get one if you wear this! The fabric is lovely, a beautifully elastic blend of 80% polyamide and 20% spandex, and fully lined; good quality and well finished. The style is my favourite because with string ties above and below, it will adjust to fit you perfectly and the two triangles are free to slide along the tie, so you can position them as you wish. The frilly bits are fun and very feminine, and enhance an already pretty design. |
Compared to other bikinis by the same brand, this one seems to me to run small, so go for one size larger than normal. I usually take a UK size 10 (US size 8) but I ordered the Small (instead of the Medium) because I wanted a really tiny bikini for private sunbathing. Even so, it fits smaller than I expected, especially the bottom. The current price of around £23 ($40) is very reasonable for such an item. So, if you like the look of this bikini, you should not be disappointed, in fact you might be surprised at the quality. It's tiny, bright and happy and very comfortable to wear.
I have been shopping online for close to 15 years and one develops a “nose” over that stretch of time, however, once in a while something turns out to be not as it seemed. This bikini, which I received for testing and review, gave me one of those "WOW!" moments. The look and colour combination from the photographs (I have the black one) had caught my attention, but there was no hint of the high quality, starting from the presentation: nicely packaged in a resealable clear plastic bag, so you can carry your wet swimsuit in a hold-all without getting everything else damp.
The bikini itself is made of a substantial and beautifully elastic blend of 80% polyamide and 20% spandex. The lace, printed in a tasteful leopard skin pattern, embellishes the top, and forms the waistband of the bottom. It is highly stretchable, and extremely comfortable. The ties are made of gorgeous elasticated ribbon, bi-coloured and twisted. Two small metal globes finish the halter ties. The top is padded with removable foam inserts and the two triangles are free to slide along the tie, so you can position them exactly to suit your body shape. In my experience, the sizing is quite accurate. I usually take a UK size 10 (US size 8) but I ordered the Small (instead of the Medium) because I wanted a really tiny bikini for private sunbathing. It fits me exactly as I expected. |
To help you choose the perfect size for you, consider that the top is adjustable while the bottom is not. So you might want to order based on your hip measurement, keeping in mind that with these styles, the top tends to be big in relation to the bottom. And one word of warning: before you buy this bikini and then complain that the bottom is too skimpy, remember what “Brazilian cut” means: a compromise between a thong (which bares the cheeks completely) and a traditional bikini bottom (which covers varying amounts of skin). The Brazilian cut will not cover much of your bottom, but it will offer more modesty than a straight thong.
This is a bold bikini for someone who is comfortable and secure wearing this style. If you have been diligent with your squats and legwork, it will look sensational. If you haven't and are in somewhat softer shape, it will still look hot, but also provide some incentive to really tone up! The current price of around £30 ($40) is more than reasonable for such quality. So, if you like the look of this bikini, you will be amazed as I was when I opened the package, since the photos really don't do it justice. I absolutely love it! |
Thanks to the latest fabric printing processes, this adorable sweater makes me feel like I'm wearing an oil painting. ZLYC have a large variety of these crisply graphic sweaters, some featuring photographic art, but to me the really irresistible ones have these designs that look like a beautiful oil painting on a canvas. There is another one I adore, called Art Oil Painting, which is an interpretation of a favourite VanGogh painting. This one features swans in flight (I love swans) and roses (I adore roses). When I saw these together, I knew this sweater was made for me! A moody midnight blue and purply background anchors the birds and flowers and gives the whole design the appeal of a warm summer's night.

Speaking of warmth, this top is very versatile and comfortable bridging that mid-season gap when a T-shirt is not enough, but a wooly sweater is too much, but don't expect it to keep you warm and cosy (unless you wear it over some thermal underwear). The synthetic blend of 88% Polyester and 22% Elasthane is super smooth and feels like thick woven silk, if you can imagine such a thing.

Size-wise, since I was sent a sample to evaluate, I have given feedback to the vendor that I believe their size guidance could be improved. As it is, they say different things depending on what site you are looking at. The UK site has been updated but the US still states that a Small size fits a US size 8, UK size 12. I would disagree. My usual size for tops is Small, or US 6-8 and UK 10 and this sweater in size Small is only just big enough for me in the body, and the sleeves are a bit short. If I were any bigger, it definitely would not fit. So, until they change their size equivalency, just go up at least one size when ordering from the US and you should be okay. On the UK, be aware that these fit rather snug. If you are in doubt, are at all busty, or like a baggy fit, go up a size, too. Check out my photos, keeping in mind that I have a rather short upper body in relation to my height of 5'8”. The soft sheen of the fabric, together with the gorgeous, saturated colours and beautiful design, make this top rather unique and a sure attention-getter.
