This set represents excellent value for money and was a happy discovery for me in terms of quality and effectiveness. The price would be attractive for a single pot of cream, never mind a set of four! It is formulated for mature skin, from 40 to 60, which is not always clear with other products of this type.
The long box contains two tubes joined by a common screw-on cap. At one end is the eye serum, at the other the lip serum. They are very different in composition. The eye serum is a clear, very thin liquid. It is readily absorbed but, because the texture is so watery, it's easy to use too much. It lasted me well over 3 months and has had some beneficial effect but I am going to keep trying other products. I think it is more useful for skin under 50. The lip serum is much denser and very easy to massage deeply into the skin. |
I
smooth it over the whole area from below the nose to under the bottom
lip, including the mouth as it is supposed to be a plumper. I have some
nasty creases all around my lips; after using up the tube, the creases
are less evident but not gone (a bit much to ask as I am now 61). On
balance, I like the lip serum better than the eye serum, although
getting them all as a package, the price is very compelling.
The day cream has a lovely thick texture that allows a little massage before melting into my skin. It makes a very good base for make-up because my face remains shine-free all day with minimal retouching. The night cream has the same dense but dissolving texture but is a bit thicker, as one would expect. It makes my skin look relaxed and smooth the morning after application.
After 4 months of use (yes, they lasted me well), I would rate this combo very highly. Much better than your generic L'Oreal etc. which feels like petroleum jelly and just sits on top of my skin. I continue to experiment with new products because that is what I do but would be happy to come back to this line as it seemed to work well for me.

I'm very pleased with this light but effective night cream. It is quickly absorbed by the skin and does not leave a greasy residue. Compared with L'Oreal Revitalift, it is a bit more expensive but much more pleasant to use because of its vanishing powers. After a couple of week's use, my winter-weary skin looks better. I still have lines and wrinkles (I did not expect a miracle) but the general look is softer and my skin's texture has improved.
My jar came with a trial tube of eye gel, which I find wonderful for the fragile and sensitive area around my eyes. It's more a decongestant treatment for puffy skin than a straight nourishing cream. Also light and easily absorbed. For those who care about such things, Eveline's web site states that their products are NOT tested on animals. |
