Lorata
Supremely comfortable cut and fabric. These workout leggings are extremely soft and giving and well suited for gym wear and perhaps cooler conditions as the fabric is fairly warm. I like the styling and find it very flattering (I chose the black ones with grey waistband).
They seem to be long enough in the leg even in movement. I asked for a size Large which is not at all tight on me and fits me very comfortably. For reference, I am 5'8”, waist 29”, hips 38” and normally wear a UK size 10, US size 8. Good manufacture, tight, even stitching and a shape that should suit most. Easy to machine wash with the delicate cycle, cool water and drip dry. Suitable for yoga, stretching, gym workouts and running in cool weather, but they are not compression tights, the fabric is very soft. Sample received for evaluation and comment |
I like these leggings and find them really comfortable to wear. They are also quite warm and the fabric is very soft and stretchy. They have a high contrast-coloured waist band that can be folded down, although on me it only just reaches my natural waistline, especially in motion. The size Large fits me comfortably with no tension and they are just long enough in the leg. For reference, I am 5'8”, waist 29”, hips 38” and normally wear a UK size 10, or US size 8.
They are well made and neatly stitched, and come through the wash without pilling (I use the delicate cycle, cool water and drip dry). Suitable for yoga, stretching, gym workouts and running in cool weather, but they are not compression tights, the fabric is very soft. Sample received for evaluation and comment |
These leggings feature mesh inserts that run diagonally over the thighs, just above the knee. The fabric is thin but elastic (a mix of 18% Spandex and 82% Nylon) and offers some compression if you buy the correct size for you. However, I'm not crazy about the cut and styling and don't find them comfortable to wear.
Although I asked for a size Large, to make sure they would be long enough, they are still too short for me (laid flat they measure 33 inches). On the other hand, they are too big over the hips and, since they have a low-rise waistline, this combination means that they are always slipping downwards, which is very distracting while working out, especially on something like an Elliptical Cross-trainer, where the legs are constantly in a cycling motion. For reference, I am 5'8”, waist 29”, hips 38” and normally wear a US size 8. Manufacture is good, with neat stitching and the mesh panels appear solid enough for the moment. Easy to wash with the usual delicate cycle (cool water and drip dry - I would never put this type of fabric in the dryer). I think this is a typical example of a garment that doesn't suit tall people (not that I'm particularly tall). I find low-rise leggings unflattering and in a compression garment, it doesn't make any sense to have an elastic waist inches below the natural waistline. I think the design problems could be easily solved by making the leggings longer at both ends. Sample received for evaluation and comment |
