Bago Travel Organizers
Set of 4 Small Packing Cubes & 6 Plastic Pouches
A set of pretty travel cubes in a fairly small but useful size (12 x 5 x 4 inches). This kit consists of 4 cubes and 6 resealable plastic pouches (in 3 sizes). Out of the many colour options, I chose the Tale Blue (maybe Teal?). There are lots of other colour combinations to choose from; you can go for a matching set like mine, or mix the colours for variety.
The strong, rip-stop polyester fabric features a beehive pattern and feels quite durable. The top is almost entirely made up of mesh and allows a clear view of the contents. This size of organizer is suitable for underwear and smaller items. To test the capacity, I filled the cubes with various things. These are just examples of what each cube can hold: 8 pairs of men's socks; 4 large sunglasses cases; 5 or 6 moulded or sports bras; 3 lightweight jerseys or T-shirts; 6 pairs of leggings. Apart from the obvious convenience of grouping several items together, these organizers are time savers because they can be quickly slipped in a hotel drawer or closet for later unpacking. |
The plastic-zipped moisture-proof bags are perfect for swimsuits, toiletries, skin care and even flip-flops. I really like the idea of organizing my suitcases, especially if two people are sharing the same case, or to separate slippery or delicate items.
The quality of manufacture and finishing is excellent with no visible loose threads. The internal seams are encased in sturdy grosgrain ribbon, and the stitching is executed with thread identical in colour to the fabric, so that it is invisible from the outside. The two-way zip fasteners run smoothly, whether the bag is full or empty. The plastic toggles and nylon cords are a nice touch, easy to grasp and very visible. The mesh is quite open but does not look fragile. Each piece has a carrying handle made of grosgrain, which looks a bit delicate and the attachment point is perhaps the only weak link in the design; but then these cubes are not likely to be overloaded.
When not travelling, I use them to organize and store my out-of-season clothes inside closets and clear plastic storage boxes. They hold folded clothes perfectly and slightly compressed so that jerseys and knit tops, especially, take up less space while staying neatly folded and still easily available. The mesh lets air circulate and allows a clear view of the contents. Well made and versatile, they can be put to many uses.

One of the best looking sets of travel cubes I have had the pleasure to review. This kit consists of four cubes, in two very practical sizes. Currently, they are available in five colours, from conservative black to bright and cheery shades. I chose the gold colour and, in person, it is a little warmer than in the picture, a gorgeous, shimmery mustard or goldenrod; an original shade and a great complement to my brown-toned luggage.
The strong, rip-stop polyester fabric feels quite substantial and is embellished with a complex diamond pattern. A very large mesh window on the top side allows a clear view of the contents. The two larger cubes are ideal for shirts, sweaters, skirts, or trousers, while the two smaller ones are well suited for swimsuits, underwear, socks, T-shirts, toiletries (preferably inside a moisture-proof bag) and even shoes. I really like the idea of organizing my suitcases, especially if two people are sharing the same case, or to separate daytime and night-time outfits. |
I was impressed by the quality of manufacture and finishing. With synthetic fabrics, loose threads are often apparent, but these organizers are really well made. All the internal seams are encased in sturdy grosgrain ribbon, and the stitching (often double) is executed with thread identical in colour to the fabric, so that it is invisible from the outside. Another sign of quality is apparent in the sturdy two-way zip fasteners which run smoothly, whether the bag is full or empty. The plastic toggles and nylon cords are a nice touch, easy to grasp and very visible. The mesh is quite open but does not look fragile.
Each piece has a carrying handle made of grosgrain, which looks a bit delicate and the attachment point is perhaps the only weak link in the design; but then these cubes are not really meant to be carried over great distances. Apart from the obvious convenience of grouping several items together, these organizers are time savers because they can be quickly slipped in a hotel drawer or closet for later unpacking. |
As a little extra, the four cubes come in a transparent, resealable pouch, ideal to store them when not in use. Personally, when not travelling, I like to use these cubes to stack my out-of-season clothes inside closets and clear plastic storage boxes. They hold folded clothes perfectly and, because of their compressing ability, jerseys and knit tops, especially, seem to take up a fraction of the space, and stay neatly folded and still easily available. The mesh front lets air circulate, and I can see the contents without having to open them.
I am delighted with these beautiful organizers and, given their obvious quality, expect them to be durable as well. With careful hand-washing, they should remain pristine-looking for a very long time. A sample product was supplied to me for my evaluation and review, but at the current price, I would have been happy to buy them.

My husband has tested this travel pouch as he's always looking for a place to park his phone and credit cards, and sometimes pockets are just not safe or large enough. The pouch is well made of very lightweight black polyester fabric with a fold-down flap secured by Velcro and the brand logo in white. Inside there is one internal pocket, a good size for a phone, and the remaining space is large enough to accommodate a passport, and not much else.
This is a very small bag, designed to be worn hidden under clothing. If you only use it to hold a phone, some banknotes or credit cards, and a passport, the profile will remain very flat and the whole thing would be virtually invisible under a shirt. There is a wrist handle, and a very long, elasticated thin strap that can go over the neck, or shoulder. It can, of course, be worn on the outside for easy access to the contents. |
A very welcome little extra is the RFID shield inside the lining, so any cards inside would be protected from electronic theft.
My husband likes his new storage pouch and wears it often when out shopping. He hasn't missed a single call, and his phone is protected from scratches and dust. An unobtrusive, functional item that can be very useful when travelling, or in everyday shopping situations. |
