This is one of those items that turned out to be considerably better in person. I had no idea that the fabric was so gorgeous, it's interwoven with silver thread in a tiny zigzag pattern and looks terrific. It's a dream to wear, comfortable, weightless, with an asymmetrical fold on the left which drapes any way you want, doing wonders for your figure. I found that it can be worn two ways: stretched down smoothly as a mini-dress with heels or strappy sandals, or scrunched higher over leggings or evening trousers.
It arrived impressively presented, wrapped in tissue paper inside a box. My photo of the dress on a hanger shows it exactly as it arrived, fresh out of the box. An ideal choice to take on a trip because it unfolds completely without creases, it washes and dries quickly, and needs no ironing. It is a very stretchy polyester with no zips or buttons, you slip it on over your head like a t-shirt. Excellent manufacture, no loose threads or visible imperfections.

The sizing is true to the chart in the photo. For reference, I am 5'8”, bust 35”, waist 29”, hips 38” and normally wear a UK size 10. I asked for a size Medium and it fits me like a glove. I'm absolutely delighted with this piece. It is entirely to my taste, very versatile and super-elegant in an understated way. It can look fresh every time with different accessories, a new version of the little black dress.

Sleeveless Tailored Dress
Unusually, this dress arrives in a box, giving a deluxe presentation. The dress is wrapped in tissue paper and I was surprised to see that, once unfolded, it was completely creaseless. My photos show the dress on a hanger, seconds after being unwrapped.
The fabric is a smooth and lightweight polyester. I used to prefer natural fabrics, but I must admit these new synthetics offer a lot of practical advantages. This dress is ideal for holidays and travel as it washes and dries quickly, folds down to a tiny size and does not require any ironing It's a very pretty bluebell shade, a little brighter than on the product page. Very comfortable to wear with excellent stretch and a fitted, tailored shape. |

The bust is cut beautifully and high enough that one can add a belt, if desired. I wear it with a multi-adjustment bra with the straps crossed at the back and the dress covers them easily. The downside of the fabric is that it tends to cling and drape and is rather unforgiving and, unless you are as slim as the model, shapewear might be advisable, especially over the belly.
The size chart given in the last photo is reliable. For reference, I am 5'8”, bust 35”, waist 29”, hips 38” and normally wear a UK size 10. The dress in a size Medium fits me like a glove, perhaps a bit tight over the hips but that's my usual problem. I would say that it is designed for a slender figure with a medium-small bust. Manufacture, stitching and finishes are excellent with no visible imperfections. The long zip at the back runs smoothly. For the current price of £11, the quality is high, making it an easy choice, suitable for many occasions.
